5 Tips for Finding the Right Party Rental Service in Los Angeles

A party rental company in Los Angeles needs to be at the top of your list of things to do when planning a party or event. You need a reliable company that offers a good inventory of items. When you find a good company, they will save you time and money, which are equally important.
  1. Visit a Showroom

It’s hard to get a vision for your event without seeing the supplies in front of you. Visit our showroom of party rental items and services so you can see what they have as well as the quality and condition of everything.

  1. Check Out the Inventory Online

A company’s website is a great tool for learning about them. (Feel free to explore ours while you’re here!)

Learn about the events that the rental service has provided rentals for in the past and view a photo gallery. We have photos of many of our past events and have helped with graduations, carnivals, and everything in between.

Every event you hold might be different. This means you might need tables and chairs for one event, bar equipment for another, and tents and lighting for another.

  1. Make Some Comparisons

Take the time to make comparisons between a few rental services in LA. Take into consideration not only cost, but also availability of supplies. You don’t want to have to work with multiple companies to get all of what you need.

  1. Ask Questions
It’s a good idea to ask questions of the company to learn about costs as well as what they’re able to do to help you. We’re happy to address any questions you have about rentals for an upcoming event.

  1. Read Reviews

You should read some reviews online about the party rental service. If others have had a good experience, the likelihood of you having one is high. (You can read our reviews here.)
A great party rental service will make it easier to get tables, lights, catering equipment, and so much more. Let us help your event to be successful by calling to rent items with us today!

Setting This Year’s Christmas Table

Christmas is days away, meaning tons of last-minute shopping, present wrapping, and meal planning. While many people may share intimate holidays with significant others or friends, others enjoy hosting large family get-togethers. Regardless of the guest list, you want your Christmas dinner table to be fabulous and festive. Here are the ways others are setting this year’s Christmas table.

Before grocery shopping for the crew, determine the amount of guests that will be sitting around that delicious meal. This will help you decide if you have enough room or if you may need to upgrade. Table rental in Los Angeles is available for extended-family gatherings while smaller shops may have the perfect four-seater for you and your spouse. You’ll want to ensure the table may fit in the house – but if people need to be split up among the home, it’s okay!
The big colors for Christmas this year include the classic red and gold, but bright and bold hues are also hitting the holiday table. Some designers are doing silver and blue, while others are taking different shades of reds and greens in order to create a festive ombre effect. Make sure your food does the same thing! The traditional Christmas foods such as turkey or ham are always a good idea but don’t be afraid to get a little funky. Try roasted Brussels sprouts with quinoa and cranberry for a delicious and innovative side.
When setting this year’s Christmas table, the most important thing to keep in mind is you! This is for your family and friends, and everyone should be comfortable. Add in little tradition from the past – and maybe a few new ones for the future – and have a fun and festive meal!

Winter Themed Parties: Beyond the Holidays

Time stops for no one, and that means every December eventually turns into January. But just because the major holidays of Christmas and New Year’s are now over, that definitely doesn’t mean the end to fun occasions! You have several months within which to create a winter wonderland party with a cozy atmosphere and winter-oriented decorations, games, food and drink.

You can count on our Los Angeles party rentals to help you design and execute the perfect event for any amount of guests and whether for a birthday party or just for a gathering of family and/or friends. In addition to renting extra tables and chairs, linens, lights and more, you can even rent heaters to keep your guests warm.

To create the invitations, use winter images such as snow-covered trees, snowmen, ice skates, snowballs, or penguins. You can print the party information on a rectangular piece of light-blue cardstock, or printed on white paper that is cut out and glued to the cardstock, and use a rubber stamp or stickers to decorate.

Perhaps cover your tables with snowflake tablecloths and napkins. Cut out your own snowflakes for added decoration including hanging them and winter garlands and icicle lights from the ceiling. Add shimmering snowflake ornaments and other appropriate decorations. Play lively winter games in artificial snow. Use snowman plastic mugs to serve hot chocolate with miniature marshmallows floating on top or warm apple cider. If you want to be more elegant, add an ice sculpture. Fill party pails or hand decorated snowman craft goodie bags with tasty winter treats that your guests can take home.

For all your Los Angeles area party rentals – including Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Clarita and beyond – visit our showroom at 16010 Strathern Street in Van Nuys or telephone us at (818) 785-1105. AAA Rents & Events can help you plan an amazing and magical winter party!

Organizing the Floor Space at Your Party

Once you have chosen a venue for your next party, it’s important to spend some time considering how you’ll want to utilize the available floor space. The layout of your event will have a huge impact on the energy and flow in the room. A poor use of space can make a room seem crowded and cramped, or it can make your event seem desolate and empty. That’s why it’s essential to arrange things in a logical way so that there is a well-planned flow for guests to move from one area to next.

Be sure that you have a closet or coat check available for guests immediately when they enter your party. If you are serving hors d’oeuvres, have a few stations of food set up so that everyone isn’t crowded around one area. Try placing food toward the back of the room to help draw guests in. If you have a seated event, leave plenty of space between tables for guests to push back chairs and for servers to navigate the aisles. Keep your space as open as possible and place the bar, dance floor and any attractions near each other. Also, make sure that the restrooms are clearly marked.

If you are setting your event in a location that hosts multiple events throughout the year, then talk with the venue manager to find out what types of room layouts clients have used in the past. They are sure to have some suggestions after witnessing first-hand what worked well in the space and what didn’t.

When determining where to place your event rentals at Los Angeles parties, take the time to carefully organize the entire floor space. This will guarantee that your guests will be able to find and enjoy all of the features and activities that you spent so much time and energy creating.
